Drawing from the memoir’s protagonist, David Starr Jordan, I've created a new mad scientist character whose obsession with cataloging every fish species on the planet leads her on an all-consuming journey. What begins as a noble quest soon spirals into chaos, as she finds herself ensnared by the very disorder she hoped to conquer.
